Cruz Bay Boutique Hotel is owned and operated by David Guidi and Denise Walker. David and Denise were married on St. John in February 2009 after having visited the island numerous times previously while on vacation. They noticed that St. John had few good quality, affordable accommodation options, so they decided to "live the dream" in 2010 by moving down and opening the hotel.

David is originally from Chicago, but grew up in Toronto, Canada. His background is in real estate development and property and hotel management. Denise is from Toronto, Canada and has a background in high-end retail and customer service. Both enjoy travel, food, music, wine and of course – the beach!
